Why did Iran adopt an Islamic republic as its choice of government? I understand why it’s neighbour Pakistan needed to adopt it (to gain independence from British India), but why Iran?

Usually the protests start in tehran and get repressed by the riot police and die down before the other cities join in.

This time the rural cities are going at it hard and overpowering the riot police.

The regimme forces are concentrated near the capital and their xi sponsored vehicles aint good enough for traveling long distances in summer. They overheat. Summer is great time for uprising because the riot police gear is too heavy. Repressors get tired quicker in summer.

It's just a matter of time now. Tehran gotta step up. But a slow build up is more effective because it is more tiresome for the regimme.

Right now the riot police forces are concentrated in the south of Iran. The Ayatollah has sent oppressors to the south to manage the situation. Little did he know that Tehran is about to blow up. People are surrounding his palace today.

Honestly I think this will carry on and grow. Country has been managed so poorly that there is no way the ayatollahs government could establish the grounds that would make an adequate lifestyle for all Iranians achievable. Bunch of thieves are running the governemnt.

Poverty will grow and people will suffer. Contrary to communists belief the western sanctions aren't the cause for this. USA didn't make ayatollahs build inapproproate dames; dry up the rivers and f*** up the ecosystem.

Sadly it ain't easy toppling a regimme that the western agencies are a fan of. America is going to try to make another syria out of iran by supporting the ayatollahs.

There are protests in different cities for different reasons; much are the same though.Down south it's water shortages, some places is electricity, oil workers are striking, people with no jobs aint happy, people that lost their money due to governement stock market sham are pissed... the list goes on..

I dont think any of these issues is a lolling matter like you put it.

The protesters chants across the country carries the same message tho.. "Fuck off ayatollah".
