A counter point, One Dance debuted at 21, people called it a flop, then he had the most commercially successful album of his career. BL didn’t debut at number 1. TS may or may not overtake BL as it picks up on airplay and Abel loses steam from bundling.

There’s a difference between a single and a lead single. Blinding Lights is by far the most popular song on After Hours and is generally a very good song. Toosie Slide was literally designed to be a fun catchy song to blow up on Tik Tok. It did that, and like literally every other Tik Tok trend, it burned out. Not many people are TSing now whereas everyone was for the first week.

Can Drake do better? Definitely, once he begins his album rollout and releases his lead single(s), yes. And if they don’t go number 1 right away, relax. Some songs pick up steam (One Dance, Hotline Bling), others are just fun throwaway tracks.
