I really like Magic. Was hoping for a better Dj Quik homage. And the production is a step in the right direction compared to the eponymous album but like Big Fish Theory set the bar too high for me maybe.
As someone who’s been through real grief he sounds like he’s going through that to me. It’s odd that you don’t like his voice on it cause that’s the main thing everyone tells me they like about the album

I'm not saying his emotions or his grief isn't real. It's more like he's trying so hard to put on this facade of being unfazed when he clearly is and it's not resonating with me.

He doesn’t sound unfazed to me at all. Sounds like he’s been hurt so bad he doesn’t feel pain anymore. Especially with how he talks about women
