Does someone who was born male want to be seen as if they were born female?

Like I said, no one is denying they are a woman. They are just denying that they were born a female. Which is the truth and reality

Why is acknowledging reality seen as putting someone in a place they don’t want to be? Nobody is putting that person in that place, they were already born into that place and nothing they can do can change the fact that it’s true they were born male

It seems like it’s more YOU or people that think like you that think it’s less of an achievement for the person born male to be competing against other ppl born male

And it’s not gender, it’s s***
2 different things. You can not change the s***you were born as unless you have a time machine

It's not made for men to dominate, it's made for the best players to play regardless of anything. It's just unfortunate that women can't compete physically with the men's league hence why women's sports were created for a level playing field. Enforcing quotas isnt a true open format and there would be issues with it anyway. Do both teams need at least 2 girls on the court at all times? Can one team just bench the girls and win?
Anyone who plays sports wants to compete at the highest level they possibly can and this forced open format with quotas would just bring down the level of competition. I also don't think there's a real market for that
Ideally they could implement that at a high school level or something but there's issues there too that could make it hard to run

It depends, but from what i understand is that:

A male at peak level will often beat a woman at peak level

But of course a woman at peak level will beat the average male

But in sports comp everyone is "peak level"

So thats where the debate comes in. Especially since there have been a few cases of mediocre male simmers that transistioned into female while already being male pro swimmers that are now top of the line in the woman division.

I dont have an answer for how it should work. Its a tough n impossible decision that will always exclude or make someone unhappy.

Its newfound territory & it sucks because someone is going to get the shorter end of the stick no matter what the final rule is.

Sports are not based on gender, they are based on sex. And they always have been. Ppl used to use gender words to mean s***words.

And you also keep bringing up “trans people will not dominate cis women sports” and idk what your definition of dominate means but from context of saying there aren’t “a lot” of trans people, I assume you mean that out of the top 100 cis women athletes in any given sport it’s not like all 100 of them or even any significant number of them will be replaced. And if you mean strictly numbers, yes that’s true

But I think ppl are saying… if even 1 person is replaced, that is not okay because that 1 person had to work their whole life to get to the place they are at with what they were given just to be replaced by someone that has a POSSIBILITY that their s***(which is different than their own) played a role in why they themselves are no longer ranked where they would’ve been otherwise

It’s just taking out a possibility. I agree some ppl are going to suffer due to ppl I guess you could say “playing it safe” but there’s an old saying rather safe than sorry as well

Like I said, it seems that you are the person obsessed with ranking instead of performance. If you run a 22 second 200 meter dash and that gets you 10th place in the mans category but 1st place in the woman’s category then you are the one saying being 1st is better even though the performance is the same. So the person isn’t any better

If a trans person, that was born male and is transitioning or has transitioned from a man to a woman; is undergoing HRT or any processes that they know for a damn fact will affect their physical performance in a sport in the category they were born into.. that is their own choice to physically handicap themselves when it comes to competing in that sport

I'm not focused on performance or rankings and I've said it many times over the course of this thread
