Travis has a track record, that aint “bringing up s***

Live nation and Travis are hand in hand

The lack of communication on livenation’s part was far more damaging for me, performers can only see what they see, they can’t hear anything especially with the crowd size Astro had

    Exactly

I went to see Steve Lacy back in December. Someone passed out in the crowd - he noticed, immediately called for help and stopped the gig til she was safe.

That's how you look out for people smh. Hate how dude is always talking about 'let's rage' bla bla like someone won't be injured lmao

You can find concerts when Travis stopped shows too so bad example.
And I doubt Steve Lacy plays for 50000 people.

Mainstream/commercial level? Yes you can “fall off” and not reach your commercial peak anymore. It just depends on the definition you use and happens to every artist.

Idk why you think Uzi or Travis are ever going to just straight up get no streams. I mean duh of course they are going to stream something they still celebs

Will Uzi ever reach the commercial heights of LIR2 or even EA? It has yet to be seen

Will Travis reach the commercial heights of AW? It has yet to be seen

But you’re applying standards to artists at a level it doesn’t make sense. Saying “it’s hard to get 10 streams” for any mainstream artist isn’t even a valid argument lol. They’re never not going to get no streams man that’s the point of context.

But just because they aren’t reaching the heights of their commercial peaks based on numbers doesn’t mean they aren’t mainstream or commercial commodities anymore.

Gunna has a trendy hit and catchy adlib right now! Uzi shows have already started selling out and he didn’t even announce the tour. Travis is gonna do fine and he probably has numbers to back that up via merch sales and major endorsements he secured over the last few years.

Saying these artists fell off when they are still some of the main people spoken about in the genre just doesn’t make any sense to me and why I hate numbers talk cause even when you look at the numbers, hundreds of MILLIONS are still listening and attending shows

I never said they weren’t commercial commodities

… I said they fell off from their commercial peak. Which is valid and true.

You can still be mainstream/commercial and not be anywhere near your peak.

Everything else is you making assumptions or reading what I sad wrong

Well the initial comment we are both commenting off of specifically said these artists are on the edge of falling off

And you keep wanting some magic scenario where Uzi and Travis fall off so hard that they get 200 streams or some s*** some s*** to solidify them “falling off”

Which is absolutely crazy and nonsensical.

No it’s doesn’t. You keep wanting some unrealistic scenario where they crash and burn into nothing so you can be right lol.

That isn’t realistic for artists of their size. They always gonna have an audience. They’re always gonna do better than a lot of artists still wish. They can still fall off too.

People are being extremely careful now after the Travis incident. Not saying that people wouldn't be doing that if it never happened but it definitely put the battery in their back to be extra vigilant lol. But that's a good thing all around

Travis is basically just an empty shell used to push whatever item corporations choose next. The music is just a side piece at this point.

Can’t blame him. He’s basically like a mega-celebrity/influencer who happens to rap post AW

  • Jul 12, 2023

"had the worst fall off in rap history" as if he isnt at the height of his career rn. just delusional hating 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

s*** seems try-hard with those weird ass TI interludes,

Birds and Astro all feel like a suped up Rodeo

Utopia gonna be like Owl Pharaoh on steroids
