After thinking about it, I will admit I was wrong to downplay Trump’s divisiveness regarding
his messaging on COVID.

He had the opportunity to actually be a semi-competent uniter back at the start of the pandemic when we did need to be “all in this together” and gleefully led his followers down the path of ignorance and contempt for people who actually took the pandemic seriously.

He was saying much crazier s*** than Obama to be fair

He speaks in simple terms so people think he’s honest

He doesnt say "i’ll pass a new law that will help the market grow and create employment opportunities"

He says "i’ll go to washington and get those mf jobs back for yall!!!"
