Samsung? Not me... I still have my Samsung TV from 2014 and it's all good. Now so do I hope my experience with the LG C1 OLED TV will be good as well.

If Sony chills with the pricing of their TV's so will I get one in like 5-10 years or less. But if you do get a Sony one before me so let me know how you feel about it

usually CES issues don't have much to do with the TV, the device you're plugging in sending the signal at the wrong time is usually the issue

I think the PS5 is the first Sony console to have CES

yeah Sony TVs are expensive, yeah I think I'm gonna get a QD-OLED if I upgrade in a few years so we will see

Really? I really hope I won't have too many issues with the PS5 I'll be getting soon... I haven't heard any or too many complaints about the PS5 when using a LG etc. TV... But I hope it won't be an issue for me

I see... Well those prices are too much for me at the moment so I'll get one once it makes sense. But man seen that Sony QD-OLED TV in person made me wanna get one. Maybe once there's a 8K version of it in 55" or something so will I get one and I hope it won't be like $3500 or more... But if it is... Well then so will I just get a LG or Samsung TV

yeah I have a camcorder that keeps turning on my TVs if I leave it plugged in

my PS5 and Nvidia Shield work fine with CES on my two TVs tho

    id rather have 4k 240hz than 8k 60hz tbh

yeah I think i’ll wait for LGs Nanocell QD-OLED tvs that are in the works

probably will upgrade in 2024-25 in no hurry my C9 still looks incredible even if the brightness and colors aren’t as good

I haven't connected a camera/camcorder to my TV... But I don't want that to happen to me though even if I'll be doing that rarely. I hope this stuff can be fixed via firmware updates or in TV's coming in 2023 or later. I don't think I'll have too much stuff connected to my TV though. I think I'll connect my PS5, PC and maybe Nintendo Switch... And maybe some times something else like a Surround Sound system or other device. Also I'll make sure to keep the TV up-to-date and that should hopefully make me avoid this whole thing as much as possible.

Yeah I feel you as 4K @ 240 Hz or higher is nice... But I won't mind both 4K @ 240 Hz and 8K @ 60 HZ or higher. I can see the TV I'll get in the future doing at least 4K @ 240 and maybe 8K @ 120 or 144 Hz

And wait you've a PS5? Then add me as a friend if you haven't done that already. What's your PSN ID famo?

Also are you considering getting a PS5 Pro in late 2024 or maybe 6-12 months after it launches? I am doing that as it'll be needed with how fast technology moves and so I can not be stock at games been 4K @ 30 Hz or if they're above 30 Hz so is it not at native 4K resolution. And that's just one of the things it should be better at. Plus I didn't get the PS4 Pro so I want to do that this time and get a PS5 Pro

I'm pretty sure it's impossible to fix with a software update if the output device is outputting a CES on signal incorrectly, the TV isn't causing the issue normally so a software update couldn't fix it

if a TV is randomly starts turning on or changing inputs for another reason then a software update could help though

yeah I got it when it came out

I barely play my PS5, just for Sony exclusive games so no don't plan to get the PS5 Pro

yeah 4k 240hz or 8k 120hz in years from now will be cool but 4k 120hz in the next few years in all games with UE5 quality graphics, ray tracing & nanite in the next 25 months is far more exciting to me cause it's gonna look crazy and is already so close with a high end PC

consoles probably 5 years off from that, PS5 Pro won't do 4k 120hz unless it's upscaled

I see... I think my TV will be fine as long as not more than 1 or 2 devices are connected via HDMI

    Gotcha... I'll add you ASAP

Ahh okay... I do though. And I think some of the people saying no might if Sony makes it good enough to be worth it. I saw some saying they'll never get a PS4 Pro get one anyway lol... But hey a PS5 should be good enough for most people I guess but not for people like me for example. I am really excited to see more stuff get leaked or revealed about the PS5 Pro. It's the next thing for me besides that DualSense Edge controller coming January 26th 2023

Well honestly no I am not expecting many 4K/120 Hz games on the PS5 Pro but more 4K/60 Hz games and some of the games at least been 4K/120 Hz without Ray-Tracing or with only some things been Ray-Traced. But I would take 4K/60 Hz with Ray-Tracing etc. and that would be good enough for me and then so will I just have a High-End PC to enjoy the games in the highest resolution and FPS possible

5 years? Then yeah we're talking about the PS6 at least then... And well what the PS6 Pro will be able to do. And oh yeah man... Games are already starting to look and feel very good as I am already blowing away by from what I've seen so far and that's just the start of this whole thing as I can't wait to see how the developers will fully take advantage of the Unreal Engine 5 for example!

yeah consoles rarely are on the cutting edge takes a while for the tech to trickle down

yeah definitely should be interesting to see what games look like over the next couple years

yeah the new consoles having flash storage is really helping graphics go to the next level lately the new horizon game looked great on ps5

True... But I think Sony releasing more and more games on PC might change their mind and hopefully make them release upgradeable consoles in the future... So if not by the time the PS6/PS6 Pro is out then the PS7 hopefully.

We're starting to get a taste of that already... But oh boy I think it'll get even better in the next 5-10 years

True man! Horizon: Forbidden West looks mind-blowing and you got games like Spider-Man 2, Wolverine, Grand Theft Auto VI been even better. And that's just the beginning of this since the hardware nowadays on PC's and consoles is getting even better and yes including some hella fast NVME M.2 SSD's

Sheeeeeesh that’s one massive tv lol personally I would of said “black friday” or “cyber monday” deals but we all know they are hardly deals lol

I would keep an eye on a brand or 2 like add it to a list and watch the price fluctuate. I do this with anything really especially when sales come around to see how much it dropped. Also idk if you might be able to snag something on clearance when all the stars align and you catch something. Maybe open box as well? Idk how you feel about that I never have gotten many products open box. When I have tho I never had an issue with it.
