I guess it'll be cool to see him do songs he hasn't performed in a while, but I wish he waited to do coachella when he actually had new music ready.

he could be lying so that he kills peoples expectations and drops when least expected. I'm not saying it's the highest chance, but he has lied about it before. In 2021 I believe he told people on twitter not to expect new music from him anytime soon, few months later he dropped cmiygl. in 2017 I believe he also claimed that SFFB wasn't a real album after people were starting to catch on from the button up he was wearing and the fake site that was made.

Neal Pogue (who mixes his albums) also told somebody in a now deleted comment to "stay tuned" when they asked if Tyler would have new music this year. After the comment was deleted he also liked somebody else's comment about new music this year; i'm assuming to reiterate what he previously said. I'll link it below

It'd be cool, but the comment in that photo Neal is replying to isn't the one that asks if it'll drop this year. Just asking when.

I was hoping it'd be this year, but I really just don't see it happening now. Tyler's usually more radio silent on social media if he was close to dropping a album.

I get what your saying because Drama did a similar thing last year at the end of The Estate Sale when he said "a new era is upon us" and Tyler is also pretty quiet before roll outs.

I was kinda under the impression tho that it could happen this year because I didn't think Neal would say that so far in advance. The comment that Neal liked in the first slide of that post is also a comment left by somebody responding to the OP's question about new music this year so that gave me some hope as well. It doesn't say "liked by author" because that screenshot is from the ig website but, he did like that comment left by the user 'rhysfj_' where he said he is assuming there will be new music this year.

Even if it doesn't happen, i'm curious to see if he says anything at Coachella about people wanting new music
