Some people did, and that's about the best leg to stand on I'd give.

it's true that the fact that a 17 year old girl who made a mistake can save her future by doing an abortion while a 17 year old boy can't is really unfair but something like this just doesn't make sense practically, we need more fathers in society for young boys especially not less

at most minors should be able to get out of fatherhood if they wish to but gtfo if you're an adult. men should have a say when women get abortions though, I 100% agree with that.

If you don’t want kids don’t have unprotected s***it’s that simple.

he gonna just keep saying condoms break and birth control doesn't work because of the rare times that happens.

MAJORITY of the time, condoms and birth control work. And when birth control has failed it's attributed to other medications and things conflicting with it (a circumstance that is not talked about in s***ed that much).

I say that because regardless if it's rare or it's common, it happens. And the thread is about the occurrence as a whole, not how often it happens.

Duhh. But for the millionth time this thread is about the bigger picture, for this happening to ANYBODY. If this occurrence was reduced to 5 men in the US a year being effected, it would still be a valid discourse to be had, and that's the point you keep on missing.

It's not fair to the child. But again, if you brought a child into the world knowing the dad ain't want it, you're doing the child a disservice and no amount of child support makes up for that missing parents according to y'all.

ok but there are better solutions, like i said why not push for increased wages and better support systems so you wouldn't feel like you're unprepared to be a parent?

Impose a testosterone tax that makes any genetic male pay into a childhood/birth fund that helps fund this

I never said don't push for that. Someone itt even said a government program to better help single mothers in that case.

But you're assuming when someone says they aren't ready for a child it means simply financially.

It's ALWAYS going to be harder to get where you're going when you have a kid, than if you get there first and then have a kid. That can go for anything, personal maturity, career aspirations, education, ect.

When we took our baby in I felt like I hadn't gotten enough time with my girlfriend before all the attention had to be hyper focused on a baby. Ended up causing some issues for us. However, financially raising the baby wasn't no big thing. After giving the baby back we realized we were unready in several other ways.

answer is that they pretty much gave up on the govt helping out in this way and that theres another solution here thats only stymied by unfairness based on sexism and they believes this is a realistic path to take unlike your proposition lol

Did you even see my response to him? Have y'all saying these things even raised a baby before? They are more taxing than simply financially.
