Violet/scarlet are actually phenomenal Pokemon games that are pushing the series forward by a large amount. The bugs aren't remotely close to as bad as people say, and the over world is far less boring than most say.
Most exciting releases for the series regarding exploration imo
Swsh are insurmountably worse
When we as gamers started saying s*** like “I get a nice dopamine hit from doing xxx” to describe their enjoyment playing a game, I think we stopped gaming for actual enjoyment, and are instead just chasing a hit.
I prefer the DLC courses to the base game courses of MK8 Deluxe
this is the only reason I'd put it ahead of Double Dash.
Mario Strikers Charged Football is the most fun Mario sports game.
Sunshine is better than Galaxy even though the latter is more polished. I wish Nintendo would remake it in a similar fashion to the mod "Super Mario Eclipse" which includes all the shoved away ideas like the train connecting all sub areas.
Mario 64 has huge camera issues which keeps it from being the Top 3D Mario. It's a fantastic game nonetheless.
Majora > OoT (but both are masterpieces)
TOTK > BOTW
people who complain about TOTK's story should get used to noninear storytelling and realize that what we see in the tears isn't the actual story that's happening. It's more of a "what happened to Zelda (in the past)?"-type of thing. The literal main quest of the game. Also, the ending is great. I have no idea why everyone wants Zelda to be punished further. The explanation of some kind of Ultra-recall + Rauru's light powers makes sense. Also, just because Mineru says it's like that doesn't mean it has to be that way. I'd agree with Link simply not telling people what's going on being strange. Everything else is nitpicking imo and can be somewhat explained/is explained (Sheikah tech,
Water Temple is the best OoT dungeon.
Majora's Mask and OoT dungeon rosters are equal in quality.
First time I'm playing soulsborne games with Elden Ring since late March, I'm around half of the game looks like
This game is what you really can consider a "no lifer" approach
You have no guidance at all - which is fine in a way, but sometimes there's legit nothing to go off of
You don't have a literal pause button if you need to take a piss bruh
At first I thought coming in as a casual that the bosses are hard and that's fine it's part of the appeal
But the whole game design is against on you on everything
I will still finish it and even attempt a platinum, but for all its fandom and even as a genre, looks to me more like a cult
Cause there is no way this is superior game design

Bruh them s***s are not f***in fun I don't care what nobody says lmao s*** isn't hard, it's annoying.
Sekiro and Bloodborne are much better experiences. Dark Souls and Elden Ring stink.

Need you to elaborate on this, what makes DS so different from BB to you? I agree on Sekiro being better but it's also harder than all the others
Need a casual multiplayer comeback. Everything too serious and competetive now

Dunno what his issue is. Maybe he doesn’t like medieval fantasy lol. Either way Elden Ring is way more adventure than all their other games, probably with DS right behind it, so maybe he doesn’t like the adventure aspect.

Bloodborne to me is much faster paced. Don't know what it is about Dark Souls but I just feel like everything in those games is just so damn slow for no reason. Combat, exploration, simply moving around. Slow and boring.

What?
What?
my fault lol just the first thought that came to mind. Could see how the long adventure aspects of ER and DS might make them less tight or fun compared to BB/Sekiro which feel more action oriented.

Ok I get that, bloodborne does want you to be more aggressive

I want that too, but the gaming community would turn that sweaty, so I question how casual multiplayer would come back.
If Crash Team Racing actually gets a new gen patch/PC release I will drop Mario Kart World so fast.
Spent some time this weekend trying Breath of the Wild for the first time.
I absolutely refuse to believe this is the game that got the hype it did for the last X years

How much time? It does take a bit to really open up. The open world is a bit blandisito sometimes but the main story stuff is cute.

A good chunk of time honestly. It started to open up but I couldn’t believe that’s it. The runes were cool I guess but the obnoxiously large map for most of it to be empty + coupled with terrible stamina and weapon breaking mechanics..
I wanted it to be good and was willing to really dive into it but I just couldn’t continue. Not a fan
UFC 5 online ranked (only mode I’ve played) is some good fun
Kojima might be right in a sense, my favorite games OAT I think were ones I tried and hated, then went back to and fell in love with

Just view the weapons as ammo. But yea i personally think odyssey is still the single player king. Just a bit more polish.
It really comes down to if you enjoy the shrines or not.
I did spend my time with it as it really was a Wii U game at heart. I bought a Switch at launch to retire my Wii U.
I didn't finish TOTK. I do want to retry again with the 60fps. But i had my problems with the combat in that game, too. The menu system is just too messy.
I hope a higher power smites Capcom for how they’ve abandoned Dragon’s Dogma 2
No patch since January
Devs are radio silent
DLC most likely cancelled (if it ever existed)
Itsuno left
The game deserved so much more

I think its impossible unless there's no ranked mode at all, people already start looking to min/max before even launching the game
