What gives you more rights to be a citizen than them?
These are people that travelled across the world for a better life for their children.
being a natural born citizen gives me those rights
so because these people aren't considered citizens, we force them to live like this?
disgusting

we do what @sbtrkshn says and send them back
why would you come to the US as an illegal knowing what tf is the situation over here and what they would do to you

What a trash take. This is the land of immigrants anyways, so most likely someone from your ansestors had to travel to come here.
What gives them more rights to come than these people stuck in the border?
Go ahead, tell me.

theres laws you need to follow the law.
im a citizen f*** are you even saying lmao. we cant just have anyone who wants come live here 🙄
how did you / your ancestors become citizens?

Suffer in hope they can eventually have a better life for their kids.
You know, since the US is known for being about democracy and equality, right?
Niggas who never immigrated to the United States living in complete ignorance of the process and how long it takes

You're leaving a bad situation to find an even worse situation to then get deported back to your initial situation
wow
Niggas who never immigrated to the United States living in complete ignorance of the process and how long it takes
not even rly ignorance as much as a lack of empathy. if they were suddenly forced to immigrate somewhere else they would be calling for reform
why would you come to the US as an illegal knowing what tf is the situation over here and what they would do to you
Use common sense
If you know what the situation is over here and still decide to come, clearly the reward outweighs the risk (probably because where you are right now is in worse condition)?
jfc
legally
its honestly mad disrespectful and ignorant for idiots to just act like anyone should be able to come live in America. People literally spend years, even decades to get the right to either work here or to become a resident/citizen. This is the most in demand country to live in by far, so obviously you can't just let anyone come here.
With that said, we need to do way f***ing better than forcing them to live like this. Either send them back immediately, or build facilities that manage them for however long until they are sent back,

agree
why? do you not know the process?
you're talking about how you / your ancestors came here "legally" so I would like you to describe how
theres laws you need to follow the law.
What is the law exactly? Coz if the law discriminates agaisnt people that want a better life for their kids, then it should change, we we shouldn't be supprting it.
Acting like the "law" is something concrete that doesnt change, I'm sure the law was different 200 years ago lol.

A better life you can't provide? C'mon kiddo, US is not f***ing spain, they're not gonna give you facilities nor free healthcare, how are you going to provide your kids all those?
