Immigration brings in more money to a country than it costs
saying illegal immigration should be an american investment is not a great way to approach this...

yes, sending illegal immigrants back makes no sense
the border should be respected simple as that...
there are immigrants that came to the US the legal way, the right way and have the same sentiment as me. Though it may be extremely difficult to do it the legal way, coming here illegally is only putting more harm to the families involved...

why is it putting more harm to the families involved?
and why should the border be respected
why do people sell d****?
why do people engage in s***work?
why do people shoplift?
Why do people do any of these things given the consequenses laid behind them.
because there is little to no oppritunity to get it other wise, it REALLY isn't that hard to have empathy for others situations
Capitalism that’s why
There’s a process for entering into any country for a reason. The problem is that our process is unnecessarily hard just for the sake of keeping certain people out.
I don’t think the people itt saying send them back or they’re not our problem understand how privileged they are to be living in this country. And not even just the US, there are boats with immigrants on them trying to get into the UK as well. They bring tremendous opportunities not just for the now but for the future of families.
The US has made anyway of getting into the country even if you’re paying taxes and coming on a work vista it’s an arduous process. My colleague was deported last year because his work vista expired and it’s basically a lottery of who gets to stay and who doesn’t and they send the rest back. Doesn’t make sense to me why you would want to limit the working citizens bringing in more money and improving the economy in doing so.
How exactly is it our problem that someone can’t afford to migrate legally? I lean far left, but immigration is one of the few things I’m not on board with y’all with. If people wanna come over, fine. But there’s this weird narrative that we should just be welcoming EVERYBODY (but muh melting pot) with open arms knowing damn well every other country is allowed to be protective of who they let in.
Other countries aren’t as diverse as America, so it can easily be chocked up to xenophobia, if not out and out racism.

There are a lot of racists in this country who use immigration/border patrol to mask their racism. But it isn't inherently racist. No country is obligated to accommodate people who can't afford to legally move over there.

I mean... you don’t have to look any farther than North America. Mexico and Canada are both diverse countries, and they both have tighter borders than us.
