The crisis on d*** addiction in the US is a result of many failed facets, not because of people selling crack on the corner.

Heavy criminal penalties have already existed for d*** dealers for decades-- it does nothing. Ask any DEA special agent how far that's gotten them. Law enforcement can go only as far as its legislative arm, and it's a Sisyphean task to wipe out d*** dealing that way. What's the next step-- invading Mexico and China to execute cartel leaders and precursor chemical distributor executives?

The crisis isn't going away until we look into the deeper economic instability in neighborhoods where d*** distribution occurs, as well as the social failure brought in by how we treat the homeless and the poor in American society. Not to mention, extreme regulations on pharmaceutical giants and how we handle healthcare.

Trusting the state (especially the current state) with the execution of anyone is also laughable. Even if we already lived in a socialist state.

All the talk and hand wringing (not you, in general) about all the factors we know the government is responsible for (crack epidemic, war on d****, COINTELPRO, etc etc) yet the only solution is to still wait and see and keep voting for the lesser evil until the right progressive candidate comes along and gets rid of the old racist boomers.
