Hopefully this turns into his Emancipation of Mimi or Confessions on the Dance Floor. I guess I'll be fine if it's not, I just wanna see him on top one more time

Not feeling the new song
maybe I should listen to it again
I listened to it too much the first 2 or 3 days so I burnt out. I've had enough Bad Habits lol
Usher should get one of the big names as features, he even has the ability to get CB and Drake on the same track.

I’m entering my second wind with it
I’m starting to get really excited about the album coming. Just hearing how Usher has talked about the album so far, we in for a classic I just know it

I think we've had enough Chris collabs, I want someone different tbh.
I'd like a Drake one. It'd give him his 10th #1 I just feel like 9 is incomplete lol

I'm excited too. The way he's talking about it makes me excited cuz he's never been this genuinely happy and ecstatic about a project in a very long time.
Hot take: Believe isn't even gonna be a top 3 track on the album
Anyone see his performance at the iHeart Radio festival tonight? I tuned in when he played Yeah, I forgot. I found this video, hopefully better ones come tomorrow

My Way, 8701, Confessions and Here I Stand are his best. Listen in that order, the evolution through those 4 albums is pure perfection.
His next 3 albums have a lot of good songs and are all great albums, but they don't have the cohesiveness as those 4.

Ah alright, can't wait to dive into the first one tonight
@PNWlitty how was my way? 👀
Really liked it, though some parts I wasn't feeling it too much so I'll have to sit with it. I'll give My Way couple of more spins until I move on to 8701

My Way is nowhere near a perfect album, but it was a huge breakthrough. I didn't like it as much at first because the middle is full of slow jams. After listening over the years I've appreciated it a lot more.

I see, yeah there was some very slow songs on there.
Can't wait until I reach Confessions though, been hearing about how everyone is saying its his best work

One of the greatest R&B albums of all time. Confessions is his Thriller or Purple Rain. I'd even say it's the Thriller of the 2000s. It was a cultural moment. That album goes in depth with the storyline. He talks about meeting the girl at the club, sleeping with her, not using protection, staying overnight, getting a call she's pregnant, having to go home to his actual gf, tell her everything, the breakup, what's next?... it goes all the way in. And then each and every song is a 9/10 at its worst.
Confessions does have quite a few slow jams too, but those are his best so they shouldn't feel as slow.
