Definitely. A lot of memorable moments on Views. It defined an entire summer/year. I'm glad it's finally getting it's flowers because it got way too much negativity when it first dropped.

I agree it should, I just wanted to emphasize how damn near every body of work that he's put out is considered to be on his 'essential' list.

It makes snese to make an essential albums list only in retrospect like for Prince or something not when an artist is still active like that

Thank Me Later has a lot of strong, underrated moments.

Karaoke, The Resistance, Over, Fancy, Shut It Down, Light Up, Find Your Love and Thank Me Now are all solid records imo.

For me, Views is a better project than More Life and a landmark in his discography

But I feel what you're saying about ML being a loose 2.0

There a lot of elements of ML that I think he tried on Views but then got it right the second time round

I remember around the time ML was being teased as a playlist there was a concern that it was just going to be Views leftovers - but that isn't the case it very much stands by itself as an experience even if it doesn't quite capture the feeling of being a proper Drake album

Between the two projects there is some amazing songs, and also some serious misses

I've always wanted to combine them, restructure a track-listing, a Views 2.0 custom project that puts the best parts of both projects into one experience

Finally they’ve updated Drake’s essential albums list. Drake only had 1 album displayed there for the longest time (Take Care).

Think Scorpion would be more essential than TML but guess hasnt been long enough to put it there

It's not an agenda when literally thousands of people are saying the album has aged well, especially when most of them didn't like the album when it first dropped.

There are a lot of solid moments on More Life. Probably just as many as there as on Views.

Well, duh. Many songs/albums sound dated, especially songs over 10 years old, whether it's the production, rapping style or topics being rapped about. Doesn't mean they're not still great songs/albums. There are many great songs from the 2000s that sound dated as hell today but still hold their weight.

views is not a classic and not even close to top 5 drake.
