thegreatdivineWell, duh. Many songs/albums sound dated, especially songs over 10 years old, whether it's the production, rapping style or topics being rapped about. Doesn't mean they're not still great songs/albums. There are many great songs from the 2000s that sound dated as hell today but still hold their weight.

I feel like More Life was Drake's take at perfecting Views. It doesn't take anything away from how good an album Views is. I just think More Life improves in all the places Views lacked and that makes it an even better project.
Not necessarily. The dancehall songs on more life are very mid. Hardly any tracks on more life transition into each other. Maybe like 4. Controlla and one dance are significantly better than madiba & blew.
More life to me feels like a bunch of loosies or as drake mentioned in his interview with Zane Lowe that he got a bunch of songs off when making views. Remember, views was re-worked (kind of like scorpion) and took an extended period of time to make (like CLB). Overall more life is a solid project, but views was well crafted, similar to his other albums.

I was listening back and the rap just wasn't hitting for me. Views, 9, PS second verse, and Still Here were underwhelming asf
