Production wise maybe, content wise no
No yeah I thought about that before I posted. I’d say the theme itself is cohesive
Vince tries way too hard to pretend like he doesn't care about s***, it comes off really forced
I always thought of cohesiveness as the overall vibes and sounds of the tracks. Like the production have its own theme. Because without a theme production wise means you’d be all over the place with the tempos, sound selection, influences
This quote is actually connected to quote in @op which is also connected to this too

https://twitter.com/CWMonieHQ/status/2097527071454933034This is actually also thread worthy but I've reached my Vince thread limit for the day
Prob a bad example but most rap albums I feel like strive to be cohesive when my whole argument for that was an album doesn’t have to be cohesive to be great.
Maybe a better example could be Endless? Thats pretty all over and jarring to listen to. It doesn’t mean the music is bad and it’s not classic.
See I think endless is super cohesive lol
thinking too highly of yourself now
I’m “High All The Time”
See I think endless is super cohesive lol
The one for two diff definitions of cohesion

https://twitter.com/CWMonieHQ/status/2097527071454933034Would make sense if trap music didn’t explode almost 3 years later. Maybe he’s not exactly wrong about white people adopting Kanye as the ideal rapper, but I ld say this has more to do with the natural evolution of the genre. Was 50 cent supposed to have a long successful music career or did his s*** just fizzle out? Kanye had a much more accessible sound and was way more creative
Hate this so much
Imagine asking a painter or a director about his favorite pieces and he says this lmao

Yeah I wish someone was there to tell him that didn't have anything to with 50 not dropping nearly as many good songs going into the 2010's as Kanye Ross and Drake
Prime example Where was a damn 50 x Kanye song itself...he didn't update his flow/sound to the changes in rap production going into the 2010's
50 on that Lex Luger type s*** saying the right s*** would have been wild. But he prolly felt he would look silly "going southpaw" after beefing with Khaled and Ross
No but it’s Vince staples and he’s been like this his whole life so it’s okay
