herbthot (renamed HerbHelper) is a profile of a character more than a person. Kodak confirmed it himself on September 21: "i only ever had access to one other account and that was my dear farmer HerbThot." The data backs him up: 25 of herbthot's 27 posts this year went up within 10 minutes of a Kodak post.
It had a real run. herbthot first shows up around page 20,000 in August 2023. Other posters quoted it 593 times in the old pages. The thread figured it out quickly. Wesley posted a Spider-Man pointing meme captioned "@KodakSpice and @HerbThot having a convo," and Prez pitched "spice cat vs herb thot." Kodak stonewalled for years. In 2023 he wrote "no HerbThot is commonly thought to be my alt who?" and, two months later, roasted his own alt: "imagine naming urself HerbThot."
It was where the unfiltered stuff went. herbthot's last big night was October 4–5, 2025, the one Kodak now calls "my last crashout was oct 4 2025 rip herbthot." Over about three minutes it went after the mod BM with slurs, claimed "Kodak ace," and snapped "I am ace tho u f***ing tard" at someone questioning it. It was permabanned. The pattern fits a burner: the account said things Kodak's main account wouldn't, and took the ban so the main didn't have to.
Then came the mourning period, which is the funny part. Kodak ran a months-long "FREE HERBTHOT" campaign: "LONG LIVE HERBTHOT," "rip herbthot :(," "herbthot just an innocent farmer he dont mean no harm @BM_," and, for no reason, "wesley doesnt post itt anymore because he killed herbthot." Others joined in. HNDRXX posted "Unban @HerbThot," and rvi, wey, fuego, and JACKIE ARTIST all posted "free herbthot." CutiePieHole called the ban "the nail in the coffin." The mods held firm. SAB's verdict: "herb thot deserved it / pretty sure the user behind that account was possessed."
The redemption arc was HerbHelper. In April it resurfaced under a new name as a polite herb salesman: "The Executive Herb Administrator / The Herbetrator," then "Would you be interested in any herbs?" BIG live laugh luv bought in ("actually yes / i ran out"), and herbthot closed with "Transaction Successful." In June it charged JACKIE ARTIST "69,000,000 currency units" over some ironwort, then just "Pay up." Kodak framed the whole thing: "he was trying to turn his life around too, even changed his name to HerbHelper."
In short: herbthot was Kodak's pressure valve, a farmer persona that took the hits so the main account didn't have to. The one real crashout got it banned, and it came back as a merchant. Kodak's mourning was more committed than most people's actual posting. It's still banned, and as of this week, still "LONG LIVE HERBTHOT."

He's the reluctant mod. His whole approach is doing as little modding as possible while making fun of the fact that he's a mod at all. When people complained about moderation: "sorry, i didn't realize you guys wanted me to mute/ban in here / who should i start with?" When someone asked him to make them a mod: "how does it make sense that i could make you mod when i'm just a mod." On unbans: "there's one account i find hilarious that everyone else hates so i'd probably unban them if they dm me / the rest idc." When he does act, it's for comedy: "banning anyone who posts pokimane gifs itt / move onto superior neekolul gifs." The thread gives him credit anyway. Sizzy, who's also a mod, bragged about squashing more beefs in six months "than any mod in history besides MAYBE Sab."
He's the countdown guy. His most-replied post of the year is two words: "600 left," on September 24, when the thread was 600 pages from locking at 100,000. It drew 1,005 replies, and 951 of them were Bruises pushing pages. He also started the July "gif avis" riot. When Camille asked when they'd get animated avatars, he said "we already have them i just asked S to hide it from you," and Bruises replied "Gif avis now" 479 times. Bruises answers him more than anyone else does, over 1,500 times, and nearly all of it is this.
He took his name from a Young Thug album. "UY SAB" comes from Young Thug's UY Scuti, and he's still calling it album of the year. Camille's favorite thing about him is his habit of dropping one-like replies under Young Thug tweets. HNDRXX once posted proof that Young Thug himself knows who SAB is.
His life offline is settled. He's an accountant in the DC area, and he backs that up in arguments: "i'm an accountant. my math is right." He has a girlfriend who got him a signed Rosalía photo for his birthday, and they have a cat. He also quit on purpose: "then i went sober on purpose when i met my gf." He's currently between jobs and dealing with it practically. He's filing for unemployment, running the numbers out loud with UncMC, and complaining that every well-paid job at DC job fairs is a defense contractor. Recent plans: "going to gym. any suggestions? legs?"
His roasts are precise. His most-liked posts are "you the typa guy to..." jokes and dry one-liners. "Trump is now doing the 'iran will have nuclear weapons in 3 weeks' thing."
He handled the end of the thread. He explained how the thread-title job passed from the OP to BM to him, "which then transferred to slingshot when i did a s***e job," and he was the one who told everyone "thread locking at 100k anyways." Kdogone has since posted that he'll have the new thread ready by page 100,000. So it looks like the campaign worked.
In short: SAB is the thread's lowest-effort, highest-return mod: a sober accountant who loves Young Thug, bans people mostly for gif choices, and ran the countdown to 100k.
