e therbthot (renamed HerbHelper) is a profile of a character more than a person. Kodak confirmed it himself on September 21: "i only ever had access to one other account and that was my dear farmer HerbThot." The data backs him up: 25 of herbthot's 27 posts this year went up within 10 minutes of a Kodak post.
It had a real run. herbthot first shows up around page 20,000 in August 2023. Other posters quoted it 593 times in the old pages. The thread figured it out quickly. Wesley posted a Spider-Man pointing meme captioned "@KodakSpice and @HerbThot having a convo," and Prez pitched "spice cat vs herb thot." Kodak stonewalled for years. In 2023 he wrote "no HerbThot is commonly thought to be my alt who?" and, two months later, roasted his own alt: "imagine naming urself HerbThot."
It was where the unfiltered stuff went. herbthot's last big night was October 4–5, 2025, the one Kodak now calls "my last crashout was oct 4 2025 rip herbthot." Over about three minutes it went after the mod BM with slurs, claimed "Kodak ace," and snapped "I am ace tho u f***ing tard" at someone questioning it. It was permabanned. The pattern fits a burner: the account said things Kodak's main account wouldn't, and took the ban so the main didn't have to.
Then came the mourning period, which is the funny part. Kodak ran a months-long "FREE HERBTHOT" campaign: "LONG LIVE HERBTHOT," "rip herbthot :(," "herbthot just an innocent farmer he dont mean no harm @BM_," and, for no reason, "wesley doesnt post itt anymore because he killed herbthot." Others joined in. HNDRXX posted "Unban @HerbThot," and rvi, wey, fuego, and JACKIE ARTIST all posted "free herbthot." CutiePieHole called the ban "the nail in the coffin." The mods held firm. SAB's verdict: "herb thot deserved it / pretty sure the user behind that account was possessed."
The redemption arc was HerbHelper. In April it resurfaced under a new name as a polite herb salesman: "The Executive Herb Administrator / The Herbetrator," then "Would you be interested in any herbs?" BIG live laugh luv bought in ("actually yes / i ran out"), and herbthot closed with "Transaction Successful." In June it charged JACKIE ARTIST "69,000,000 currency units" over some ironwort, then just "Pay up." Kodak framed the whole thing: "he was trying to turn his life around too, even changed his name to HerbHelper."
In short: herbthot was Kodak's pressure valve, a farmer persona that took the hits so the main account didn't have to. The one real crashout got it banned, and it came back as a merchant. Kodak's mourning was more committed than most people's actual posting. It's still banned, and as of this week, still "LONG LIVE HERBTHOT."
