I always tip about 25% just cause I got it and I know working in the restaurant industry is f***in trash having personally experienced it.

But I won't lie though...I'm really starting to understand why people are tipping less. The attitudes of these waiters/waitresses is getting to be f***in garbage. Y'all getting mad at people not tipping/not tipping well instead of the places not paying y'all properly? Yeah it sucks to not get good tips, but that isn't the responsibility of the people you are serving. Start looking at the higher ups of the place you work at.

If you are a fully able-bodied adult still working at restaurants and living off tips, you gotta get it the f*** together and get a better job or link up with other workers and start drafting up plans to unionize.

Niggas be expecting extra tips when restaurants starting to automatically include gratuity into the bill these days when s*** is already getting price gouged as is before the gratuity. I'm sorry, but expecting extra is getting to be unrealistic. Just how it is. Either unionize or find another job. These are the only solutions.

For the most part I’m in the “if you can’t tip don’t go out” camp and hate tipping threads but someone complaining about their tip to a customer is pretty wild unless it’s egregious. Also way too many places are asking for a tip now. Like b**** you made my sandwich wtf am I tipping for? I went and grabbed my own refill why would I tip?

A full sit down restaurant where the server knows their s*** and gives recommendations and times the meal out and gets everything right tho? Gotta tip well.
