Oh i disagree personally
I think theres good stuff on some of those projects but theres a lot of low lows that made those projects kind of a chore to get through
literally cannot disagree harder lol. all of high school was blasting the new waka for me, felt like the dude could legit never do wrong in those days. huge influence on me musically
its gas as a super early trap x pop album. was early as f*** on that bag. but yeah its low on his list only unless we are talking about sales/radio hits. which is usually irrelevant for waka talks tbh
i gotta listen back to it then i didn't really like the commercial songs and preferred the mixtapes at the time
lex was the reason a lot of people jumped on trap beats and he helped bring in tm88, southside, ken carson, and atl jacob
lex + anyone on the 1017 production roster really. lex sparked a flame thats still lit
whoās erasing them?
this was like the hardest song on planet earth to me even tho it wasn't produced by lex

same here, but it was just cool to see a trap album go so big. all the mixtapes surrounding it were better though lol

Facts. And Flock was one of the first modern southern trap artist that Up north f***ed wit heavy. I mean he from Queens too but still.
Jeezy and Shawty Redd erasure itt
Real for the Waka and Lex luger love tho
Cause these kids wonāt even listening to rap yet they still thought black people was dangerous
Youāre absolutely right
And Ross was the first one to jump on it and see itās potential I think
Wonder why waka disappeared
Edit: seems like he couldnāt get a foothold after he left his major label

He gave in to the critics and switched to EDM and New York style rap and then reality television all through the mid/late 2010ās just as the style he innovated became the new sound
He should have been flooding with all the new producers at the time 2014-2018. He shoulda been making songs like b**** u guessed it or had his own lil new sound and doing the tumblr style videos but probably had no one on his team thinking like that
