Like it's like he's singing on songs that were not intended for "lil yachty", and i think the fact that it unexpectedly works is what makes it so fye
With what you said in the next post yeah, it shows that he has a diverse ear and isn't just locked into one portion of music he listens to good s*** of all genres
im saying it's like hes not shy about positioning himself as a fan on this album . he brought up all of these guest vocalists & producers he's clearly a fan of to create the music he likes to listen to & he just wants to be a part of it without necessarily taking centre stage & being all self-serious about it
something like this could come off as really tacky but i think yachty's weird, childish vocals actually really make the whole thing work hes just so goofy & affable its like a cartoon character
