I definitely hated too heavy when it dropped but if it took a lot of mediocre tracks to make Drive Me Crazy happen its a net positive.
Still think Yachty has an atrocious voice though. Really feel sorry for him. That voice is holding him back so crazy.
Good album, havent been going back to it like that but it was really well produced and nice on the ears. drive me crazy is fire, so is running out of time and we saw the sun

It doesn't have to hold him back. He used to make music that took great advantage of it. Now he forces it into sounds he can't do
I don’t wanna be that guy but this album is quite literally just Tame Impala with worse vocals and you guys should listen to actual good rock albums

I genuinely can’t wrap my head around this. This album exists because Yachty did a remix of a Tame song and liked the sound. It’s exactly the same music

nah it has way more personality, tame songs are indistinguishable to me they all sound the same reverbed s***. cudi birthed trav doesn’t mean ppl who like trav fw cudi
I just don't get how you couldn't like it man, it's so peaceful and vibey.
I would say he and the production paired together well to make something unique.
That’s the only word to describe the album, unique. It’s not bad, it’s not great either.. but if that’s direction he’s going then it was a great start.
