    You realize Jay Z has been globally known for 20 years now right?

    Gen Z isn’t bumping The Beatles and Stevie Wonder and Prince daily, you making the argument they’re not universally popular either?

    He’s a legacy act at this point, idk why you’re judging him based on how well people 16 and under know and/or like him

    Once you achieve universal popularity you don’t maintain it forever. Why would you think otherwise?

    People move on and your presence is diminished with each passing generation

    Maybe you’re arguing that jay z is universally known? I guess. But younger generations don’t really fw him like that
