He was definitely a product of his time lmao

Mikey & Chuck destroyed him on his own song. In ways,I think The Cool Kids were probably being coached by lames in the industry who never even succeeded themselves. 0% their fault,they were just young and learnt the game too late imo.

trust me, i know exactly how you felt. that s*** hit me like a freight train. it was like somebody i vouched for for years backstabbed me at the height of our friendship. sounds ridiculous, but this music s*** is serious to some of us. i didn't believe it was atlantic because i remember he released a mixtape (ep possibly) of him rapping over edm beats that was in the same universe as what was on lasers. lupe was the culprit that entire time and tried to place blame on atlantic. he tried to use them as a scapegoat and fans ate it up

Yeah,I think the problem with dudes like Div and to throw another name out there,Mickey Factz,is that their raps and flows just really weren’t sharp enough. They were so different that as a fan of music(especially a young fan like me)you had to pay attention but I think most of the dopest people from that era rose to the top imo

Don't forget that he rapped over "Hip Hop Saved My Life" twice and on "Sunday Monday Testimonial" says "as far as Wasalu, I salute, do what you gotta do, Mohammed's watching you, but sometimes I gotta fit in, so I get reckless, cause reckless s*** is all that gets respected"

And on Dope2go Outro he raps "polo and shoes, the fnf hue, not to diss lu"

Then him being on the I'm Beaming Remix and Lupe taking Charles on Tour with him when Charles was tryna make a comeback.
