Not defending this trash country either, but American animation is legendary and inspired anime

Wtf does Japan in ww2 have to do with this thread
Pixar was dropping bonafide classic after the other in the 2000s its actually crazy in retrospect.
we def got classics
we have not been consistent for like the last 10 years tho imo
90s - 2000s were incredible then i feel like we fell off kinda bad lol
Especially the OLD hand drawn s*** like Ed Edd n Eddy
Forgot what season it was that they switched over to digital
Season 4
I literally see praise for those shows all the time
He's talking about fanboying for American Animation overall not just for individual shows cause if we did there'd be much more Animated shows
Love, Death + Robots gives me hope, but its clear animation isn't given enough respect in the west, cause if it was, each episode from that show would be its own separate show.
Netflix putting out garbage on the daily but beautiful animated episodes from LD+R like Pop Squad can't be get a chance to air for just 1 season.
DCAU is better than Miyazaki if we're being honest
you should put this in the hot takes thread
American animation has to be for adults to take it seriously.
Pretty much all American animation is comedy or for kids.
Hey Arnold > whatever you favorite American cartoon is tbh
Incredible show
Arnold the People's Champ
I wish more American action animation tv-shows actually focussed on the animation though. The stories of american shows are really good, very little filler. Animation is disappointing
Except Avatar
