van weezer was ok the way in 2020 for stadium tour but is being held on till covid chills the f*** out so now ok human is comin forward and it’s coming REAL SOON

van weezer is sold like a 80s rock album since its title paying homage to van halen but tbh more we hear of it more it sounds just pure weezer which makes up for the last more pop stuff that oldheads weren’t keen of even tho some of it are their best s*** imo

it’s a good countr balance to ok human tho which will be 100% symphonic album no guitars, lyrics about 1984 and moby d***, titled referenced to radiohead bc rivers looked up to that as a masterpiece ig while making it altho it’s not the same type of music unlike van weezer in regards to van halen (all singles are in first post they’re great tbh)

rivers said he’s working rn on the next 3 weezer albums at the same time that will follow up those two albums, one will have the collaboration song he did with julian casablancas and one will be all acoustic apparently

rivers meditates (vipassana meditation he got introduced to by rick rubin) every single day only missed on day bc he was in tour bus crash, with that it inspires him with his creativity and he writes new songs every single day, he’s selling rn over 2,000 home demos (he’s selecting only ones that doesn’t involved other ppl so it’s limited) he’s recorded from the 80s to to this day of songs abandonned on his own website he created after learning about webmastering and codding last year or so
