i really think it’s the most pop song we’ll get, it comes off more poppy than it is on first listen but when you let it sink in the real weezer cracks comes through and it then sounds so evident and natural and genuine, pure rivers - album is heavily inspired by gershwin and harry nilsson so it should be amazing

lets not take for granted the amazing run weezer have had recently as the second coming about to about, what a stellar body of work for this late in their career

it makes you even revalue the lower stuff in hindsight - it ever was that bad, just funny
