Mikey Welsh: Frank (MCR second guitarist) usually has some awesome mix going backstage. I also used to listen to a lot of Weezer before we went on.

Tom Delonge (Blink 182): How good is “The Blue Album”?

MW: I love Pinkerton. I went to that Pinkerton album show, where Weezer played the whole thing — it was amazing! They did “The Blue Album” the night before but unfortunately I couldn’t make it.

TD: “The Blue Album” is so good, dude. That “going surfing” song “Surf Wax America” is the most badass thing ever

Yeah i f***ed w them heavy

Met them during Bullets era when no one was going to their shows (respectively). I have a t shirt w all the members signatures in my storage somewhere

I supported them heavy during three cheers but i think thats also about when i lost interest in them by the end of that era

Last time i saw them it was a free show for like 500 ppl during that era and i only went because of the openers tbh

By the time black parade came out, i had no interest in them. I rememeber i bought pit tickets for their first tour during that album cycle and just gave them to my friend. She actually was able to sneak past the guards where their tour buses were parked and was able to meet them again, which at that time was hard af
