you gotta give them credits for pulling this off even if you’re not mind blown, aint no other band trying this! especially this late into their career - all the other 90s acts sticks to nostalgia factor
this is a band that is known for its crunchy guitars and solos
Hit you back.
Its cool they're still reinventing their own sound this late in their career, but it's not like there arent bands adding orchestras to their production (easiest example I can make is Coldplay). But it's dope nonetheless and I enjoy it.
Yeah conventional weapons is pretty saucy but i’m glad it got scrapped in favor of danger days
TRRUUUU love danger days
summertime, sacrecrow.. destorya.. so many jams
WHEN THEY DROPPING THE NEW ALBUM FFS
i saw some merch the other day at a store with their new symbols logo! you know they’re holding something back due to covid! just drop it man
Mikey’s great he’s not given enough credit for his influence on mcr particularly in TBP era
fr? didn’t know about this
(which in itself is pretty telling of the lack of credit he must get) tell me more
Frank is so great 🥺🥺🥺 i always thought he had the most UNDERRATED music post Mcr srsly his solo stuff is worth checking out on its own merits
i gotta give it a shot he a cool dude remember hearing one or two songs by him they sounded dope
Easily the best album from them since White Album or even Pinkerton, gotta give it a few more listens but Rivers sounds great over this orchestral production.
Lmaooooooo the screaming is so f***ing dumb
kept it in here cause it was funny
The ending is really messy I go off beat a lot
Dropped some French in the background vocals
feller went
i agree esp w how relevant social media is. Mikey being a cheater (IF he is? Idk, idrc) isn’t even the worst offense in the world. esp compared to what other way more well known artists have done
he’s only human, and he was young
do ppl not realize how many gfs of marine soldiers cheat while they’re out for months
manson guilty af i think
Manson definitely did that s***
how is this even a question
you’re the op of the greatest weezer board on the net how could i not stick by you you’re the definition of a real one

thank you so much, these words means than you think they do
i survived an avalanche where all my friends died all i hard serious episodes of survivor guilt
Devotion is next on the list
need “my mom caught me jerking off” screams in it or im out

coldplay started with that right off the bat so it’s different

such crystal performance especially for his age, not everyone holds it up like this vocally
knew you would like it
cant even pick a stand out it’s all just gems stacked on gems... numbers, the radiohead hours with its beautiful lyrics.. aloo gobi chorus stuck in you for days.. grapes of wrath, bop of the year
bird with a broken wing...
mirror image and its heartbreaking outro, some of the most beautiful poetry lyrics by rivers ever here too... la brea tar with the super brian wilson chorus
dead roses with its dark back story
that one hits different when you read it up
the mixing and production so tight and crispy
drumming so kickass...
hooks on hooks, short enough to put an orchestra themed album on repeat - who would’ve thought about it!
still pinch myself that this is a Weezer commercialized release album
not a single bad review so far we winning
Manson definitely did that s***

Yeah he sounds great man, after all these years, gotta go with Numbers being my favourite - Actually that's probably up there with my favourite Weezer songs. Don't think there's a single bad track on here, some hooks could be better but it's hard to fault when the production sounds so lush.
Will peep again shortly but they delivered

!https://youtu.be/mM2tt0Mc-1wRight off the bat? They had released 3 studio albums which didnt sound any like Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. So that's not really true.
