I’ve been stanning this album for 10 years but I just recently learned that it received a lot of negative reception for sounding too white (which blew my mind tbh) . They both have a very sleek blend of symphonic &dissonant sounds and Yeezus received the same criticism but they both went on to be favored by memory. the lore for both also revolves around a new wife, and they mark a point where the artist successfully became a brand
