Finished an oldie Vampire the masquerade Bloodlines
Big fan of vampires in general so I gave it a go and its some good ass RPG. Really dug the whole emo/rock/dark atmospheric vibe the game brought from its characters to the environment. NGL first mission gave me the absolute spooks and I only played through it during the day but after that it was smooth sailing
Would def recommend if ur a fan of rpgs/vampires, the 2nd one can't come soon enough
Been playing a lot of Ace Combat 7 and Chivalry 2.
AC7 is soooo refreshing in an industry full of bloat and open world bullshit. It’s “only” 20 missions with clear objectives but the gameplay is just so much fun that I’ve replayed the campaign and specific missions soooo many times. There’s enough variety with different aircraft and difficulty levels, plus unlockable skins and medals it really brings back the feeling of a PS2 classic where you would get hours and hours of fun out of a game without needing “endless quests” and/or an open world.
Chivalry 2 is a really unique PvP experience I’ve never had before. Only ever really played shooters online but this medieval combat s*** is so fun and hilarious. Controls are simple but the fights can be so complex they’re like a dance, except when they’re not and you’re just f***ing slashing blind in a massive brawl lmaooo.
my vr headset just got back from the repair shop, been playing American Simulator 2019. F***ing goated
Death Stranding gave me a different meaning to gaming that I can't put into words
Masterful
Close to platinum too and them imma leave it after a while
Finished Uncharted 1 and started 2
2 seems more of the same so far, not necessarily a bad thing but I just hope it doesn’t feel too formulatic
My only complaint is that these games are too short twhich makes me kinda mad because I like everything about them.
I’m used to RDR2 that took me 68 hours to finish the story and God of War that took me 50 or smth and then comes Uncharted 1, 8 hours and Uncharted 2 I finished 4 chapters in a sitting
I didn't like the Uncharted 1-3 felt too formulaic and campy jokes in very action heavy areas
I don't like the "oops coming through!" type jokes when it's funny for the sake of being funny
Plus I hated that there is zombie type creatures really took me out of the immersion and I wasn't really feeling it before the creatures which made it worse after introducing them for me
Didn't finish 3rd yet though I'm half-way

These are all valid complaints tbh, but the humor I accepted it because I like the lighthearted mood it gives the game, that’s just the way they used to do it back then. I know little me would’ve appreciated it even more the monsters have always been weird to me like why do those even have to be a thing? They just appear and disappear like that but overall I really loved Uncharted 1-3 especially 2 and 3. I platinumed 3 and was very close to platinuming 2 just need to complete a playthrough on Crushing one day.
Now I’m still in TLOU2, absolute banger

TLOU2 is great
I will finish 3rd uncharted this month probably
Idk though I be getting mad when things be lighthearted always maybe it's not for me
The depression surrounding TLOU2 is crazy I love it
I think overall in movies/games there is little tragedies and it's untapped potential
I love sad stories

I like sad stories too my favorite game of all time is Red Dead Redemption 2 but I don’d mind me some jokes in other games not to mention that Uncharted had some gems like this moment

!https://youtu.be/N15wv2C9V9QSame to me I love RDR2 it's gonna stay installed until PS4 die
I don't mind jokes but it got too much for me idk
Felt like no-stakes when they was jumping around and exploding everywhere doing the exciting "woahs" and "watch out"
It's cool though they are not bad games at all I don't wanna be misunderstood
Games on my next to play list:
(I gotta cop a PS5 and Switch though)
And lowkey that new Jojo's Bizarre Adventure fighting game remake
Finally got around to playing A Way Out. It has a super cliche "action movie" type story but it had fun gameplay and it wrapped it up with an actually decent ending. It was also really well paced imo
Imma start Phantom Pain after platinuming Death Stranding
It's about time
addicted to xenoblade chronicles 3, about to start ng+ once i do all of the ascension quests.
Control - 2/10
It's a shame how much this game wasted its concept, because it had such an intrigueing world.
Despite the brutalist architecture, a style so commonly associated with authoritarianism, of the Bureau of Control building that the game takes place in, humanity has actually lost all control of the situation.
The maze-like, constantly shifting structure of the bureau; the ever-present chanting of the supernaturally-possessed employees; and the vast array of reality-bending supernatural objects go a long way in creating an uncomfortable, unfamiliar atmosphere - yet the gameplay was nothing more than that of a standard third-person shooter.
I could perhaps be a little more forgiving if there was anything that was remotely interesting, but it felt like they set out to make the most boring game possible. Character upgrades boil down to stuff like increasing HP, mana, damage, etc. The vast majority of enemies are your standard humans with guns. Your main sources of damage are a gun and telekinesis which, lets be real, is essentially a gun.
Ashtray Maze sequence was great though. Give me more of those sequences where they actually made good use of the world they created and I probably bump this up two points. Or even better, maybe they should have just made a f***ing puzzle game where you have to figure out how to conduct obscure rituals to get all the supernatural objects back under control.
this nigga hates games bro. a 2/10? goddamn, same thing he gave for FFVII

I gave 13 Sentinels a 10/10 a couple months ago though
