fr. I've never seen someone finish it and say it's alright.
Straight up either love it or hate it
About half way through God of War. So far it's alright
It has its moments but I'm just not interested in the whole greek gods thing so I'm not really drawn into it.

If someone told me to say my piece like 2-3 hours in I woulda killed the game
But now I'm 20 hours in, I got tools and everything it's easier to play and oddly addictive
Finished God of War. The game definitely picked up in the second half but the gameplay and surrounding lore still didn't interest me.
The combat was boring for the most part and the puzzles just weren't fun for me. The main story was good but overall my experience with the game was okay.
Next I'ma check out control and stray.
Playing Stardew Valley and it’s kinda boring
Playing Uncharted 1 and I like it so far, like 4 hours in now

Yeah, 2018. Shouldve specified my b

My main issue with the combat was the lack of variety of enemies you fought. The original games had so many monsters and beasts along the way, it made every new era more exciting than the last. As far as it actually felt though, I think it was cool . Fighting the Valkyries especially was a lot of fun.
Idk if you plan on playing control on ps4, but if you do, don’t lmaooo

I fought one valkyrie and said that was the last I liked the combat more when you get the blades of chaos because they started putting more enemies but other than that I never got into it very much.
I'm gonna play control on PC but whats wrong with the ps4 version? lmao

The blades of chaos went hard
I played Control on PS4, and my thoughts on the story/premise aside, the game ran like ASS. Like complete ASS. Frame drops, pop ins, crashes, god dammit it was bad . I also don’t know if the final area glitched out on me or something, but the screen became so painfully filtered I actually got a headache
This was before I had the PS5, and my friend who I gameshare with has been telling me I should give the game another shot, this time with the next-gen upgrade since he owns it. I kinda do, but I also kinda don’t lmao. No idea how the PC version is, but it’s gotta be better than the hell I went through lol

Finished Uncharted 1 and started 2
2 seems more of the same so far, not necessarily a bad thing but I just hope it doesn’t feel too formulatic
My only complaint is that these games are too short twhich makes me kinda mad because I like everything about them.
I’m used to RDR2 that took me 68 hours to finish the story and God of War that took me 50 or smth and then comes Uncharted 1, 8 hours and Uncharted 2 I finished 4 chapters in a sitting

I think the ones that work best for NV right now are mostly normal fan patches, “simple” stuff. But I’ve been considering getting A StoryWealth for F4. 389 mods added

Not sure how long it is. I only played a couple of hours. Going between this and god of war at the moment
Just finished Uncharted 2
Way better than 1 but a little bit harder imo, got lost a couple times here and there but all in all pretty fun game aside from the fact that they show NO EMOTIONAL DAMAGE like
500 mfs be shooting ROCKETS at him and his girlfriend and he’s like “Damn! You almost had me there..”
Final Fantasy VII - 4/10
It's . . . fine I guess? The combat is kinda boring outside of some boss fights, I kinda just held down the "select" button and made the characters spam normal attacks off cooldown while I was looking at my phone. I heard Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is actually a sequel and not a remake, so that's the only reason why I bothered blasting through this one.
Mirror's Edge - 3/10
The idea is decent but I didn't really like the execution. I felt like a lot of the free-flowing movement that they were aiming for got completely killed by the inclusion of things like ladders and pipes which slow you down to a crawl. The level design was iffy at times as I felt like my natural instinct to the "flow" of the level would lead me into taking a path that would result in me jumping right into my death. Sure, I could slow down and look around to find the right path, but that stop and start movement feels incredibly bad in a movement-focused game. Also the game not registering my character grabbing onto stuff like ledges or pipes, which lead to me falling to my death, made me rage-quit at least three times. I've been seeing some gameplay videos of Neon White, and I can't help but think that is what Mirror's Edge should have been.
Omori: 10/10
what a f***in game man. im a sucker for undertale/earthbound type rpgs, and this honestly may be better than both of em! the story is extremely gripping, the characters are some of my favorite in gaming, and the OST is f***in killer. highly recommend this one. it’s very special to me
