Album less than 12 tracks/45 minute runtime
Go more introspective and honest without corny bars (similar to what Jay did with 4 44)
Stop trying to be the Slim Shady persona
Get a team who will actually call him out for picking garbage beats or his choppy raps
Reach out to a plethora of artists to see who is willing to and can help him with a creative direction (like Taylor did with Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner)
he was never a critics darling anyways
MMLP & Eminem Show both got impeccable reviews when they dropped

This. It wasn't until Encore that he started get mixed or bad reviews.

thats 2 albums out of 11 and even then the em show gets some flag to this day for being too poppy

You said “never” tho which is why I said that
10-12 tracks
Stop the fast flow
No corny pop songs
Switch up producers
No Skylar Grey
Get the MMLP/TES flow/tone back
I’ve been wishing for all of these things for like 7 years now, but like an abused ex I still think “no maybe this time he’ll get it right” each time an album is announced
You said “never” tho which is why I said that
yea u took it literal lol
he never was a constent critics darling even MMLP got hate for the subject matter and s***
He should just not drop and save us all from his s***ty ass music. Nobody but cousin f***ers listen to that bullshit anymore. We don’t need his weak ass raps anymore. We’re over this Eminem episode. He the only person that didn’t get the memo.
Yeah a concept album could work, like Relapse. I honestly thought that’s what MTBMB would be.
Ironically relapse got crapped on by the critics and casuals, and we ended up with recovery instead lol. Talk about if you could change history, if relapse gets more praise we dont get the s*** show we've had since 2010

He tried to get critical acclaim again with Relapse, even partnered with Dre for all the beats, but was crapped on. So he just shifted to full pop “appeal” with Recovery, it worked and he made lots of money. But then he got backlash for being too poppy so he tried to revive the hard persona with MMLP2 (while still having tracks with Rihanna and Skylar lmao). Ever since then it’s been rinse and repeat: he makes an album too poppy, gets backlash and tries to go the other way by rappity-rapping as much as he can

Exactly, it’s like each album since has been a response to the criticism from the last. Recovery was too poppy? Let me rekindle the glory of MMLP and put out MMLP2 (even though it still had Skylar and Rihanna lmao)

He should probably just continue doing his thing and watch a bunch of 17 year olds tell a legend what his music should be like
-Rap like a normal person without the lyrical miracle s***
-Collab with actual hip hop artists or pop artists that actually do good music and would push him to perfect his songs (fuck Ed Sheeran and Skylar Grey)
-Collab with good producers that match his sound
-Stop with the edgy lyrics, man is almost 50 yr old
MTBMB was a decent project and a step in the right direction, but he really needs to drop the trash pop artists and the awful singing s***
Eminem x Madlib LP
1. Intro
2. Eminem x Benny The Butcher x Conway
3. Eminem x Royce Da 59
4. Interlude
5. Eminem x J Cole
6. Eminem x Kendrick Lamar x JID
7. Eminem x Rihanna (Single)
8. Eminem x Pusha T
9. Outro

Everything u listed I totally agree. Which producers do you think would match him best? And which rappers to collaborate with?
Doesn't MTBMB only have one pop artist? Two if we count Skylar.
The biggest problem imo, his Comical songs, and his "love" songs.
