I think he would have that 8/10 if he was somehow able to bridge the gap between the older generation and the new one, which idk how, but I lowkey think he could make one more classic if he was able to work with younger artists effectively enough so their styles contrast, yet compliment each other.
His biggest obsticale would be people already sorta writing him off, which is lame bc dude is legit a GOAT.
Yeah exactly, I’ve always wondered what new age artists do you think would work?

I think Em/Thug could make something nice, I can see him pushing Lil Baby as well, maybe Trippie
Link up with Alchemist/EL-P for beats
Go to TDE/Odd Future/Griselda for features and use Paak and maybe Weeknd for hooks, stay the f*** away from generic ass pop singers like Pink, Ed Sheeran, etc.
Act mature for his age, him still trying to act edgy at damn near 50 is cringe af
Oh yeah and lastly stop that yelling flow he does on a majority of his songs
Just flow like he did on at least Encore's best tracks (he still is able to do it, I think he just holds back or is too stubborn), and rap on interesting production. Honestly an album of smooth flows and production like 4:44 would be great imo.
Honestly if he just took these tracks from the last couple albums and made one album
Believe
In Your Head
Castle
Arose
The Ringer
Lucky You
Not Alike
Fall
You Gon Learn
Darkness
Farewell
No Regrets

Bonus: Homicide ft. Logic
Bonus 2: The Adventures of Moon Man and Slim ft. Kid Cudi
Self produced or all same producer. much earlier rap style. No 1000mph choppy flow & weird donkey voice
-Hire songwriters that will help him with his hooks.
-Drop the shock rap s***. Subject matter more like TES. I don't need a "Slim Shady is back!" s***. The nostalgia ended in 2013 with MMLP2.
-Stop trying to prove you can switch up ur flows and rhyme schemes for the sake of it. Any message in your song becomes lost and it just ends up being another lyrical flexing battle rap exercise.
Darkness is a really good example of how a 'mature' Eminem song should sound like. Or Arose... Not saying he should have an album full of songs like that tho
Glad he stopped the yelling on recent tracks... flow is much smoother now
Honestly?
Soul and Jazz samples. Todays casual listener mainly cares about the production. If you take away that point of criticism by sampling classic records from the past and you have decent enough rapping and content over it, you are most likely gonna have an acclaimed album. Especially if you are as big as Em is.
He should just not drop and save us all from his s***ty ass music. Nobody but cousin f***ers listen to that bullshit anymore. We don’t need his weak ass raps anymore. We’re over this Eminem episode. He the only person that didn’t get the memo.
Em just had 4 billion streams. 8 times more than DaBaby.
So who si out of touch?
Yeah a concept album could work, like Relapse. I honestly thought that’s what MTBMB would be.
It was supposed to be that. He even said that in the Crooked interview. Sample clearances f***ed the concept up though.
Good production... he can use alchemist ffs
No shouty or triple speed raps
No skylar grey
No childish lyrics... you’re nearly 50 ffs
Needs a contemporary rap album for a more mature audience IMO
There’s honestly no point in discussing this, we’re stuck with angry Em collabing with Skyler Grey and Ed Sheeran over 20 tracks.
Pretty much this though
MMLP & Eminem Show both got impeccable reviews when they dropped
MMLP did not
Pretty sure it did 8’s mostly, that’s pretty good
Not on initial release. Most publications that are online re reviewed it years later and deleted the old reviews so that they dont look like haters.
Album had mixed reactions

I don’t remember it getting panned when it came out tbh, but then I wasn’t really into reviews and the internet wasn’t what it is now. It was all over radio though
10-12 tracks
Stop the fast flow
No corny pop songs
Switch up producers
No Skylar Grey
Get the MMLP/TES flow/tone back
