It makes me disappointed because his voice has changed so much. I’d love for even his Relapse voice to come back. At least its not still that Recovery constipated screaming anymore

This is probably the best overall voice/delivery he’s had post hiatus. My personal theory (Wesley’s theory lmao) is that he severely damaged his vocals during the Recovery/HTS era with the layered screaming on everything, which is why he adapted to the more “whisper” type delivery he’s used since MMLP2. Truly a shame because he had one of those voices like Andre 3000 where everything he said sounded good, even if it wasn’t good.

It's fun but dumb, just like most of the Relapse era.

Everything u listed I totally agree. Which producers do you think would match him best? And which rappers to collaborate with?

Hmm maybe a collaborative project with Madlib? Really don't know honestly, Eminem don't have a "sound" since Recovery tbh

But for the rappers is very odd that he doesn't collab with big rappers like Nas, Jay, Cole or Drake. That would be cool since he is a A1 rapper.

To me, SSLP was when Em's voice was at his best.

It was nasal but charismatic and humorous sounding and the Masta Ace influence was strong.

Kamikaze and MTBMB were 6/10 albums with some great highs. Not sure why white kids pretending to be black or black kids hating all white people minus Mac Miller are obsessing over this

MTBMB is much better than Kamikaze to me. It feels like a much more complete project. Both albums are a step in the right direction coming off the hideous tragic Revival though.

He should just not drop and save us all from his s***ty ass music. Nobody but cousin f***ers listen to that bullshit anymore. We don’t need his weak ass raps anymore. We’re over this Eminem episode. He the only person that didn’t get the memo.

Eminem is just a fascinating character. Love or hate him, He’s always going to be studied and discussed. At one point, he was the biggest thing on the planet.

I agree, but I find myself going back to Kamikaze a lot. Honestly if you take out Normal, Stepping Stone, Good Guy and Bad Guy it makes a really strong EP and his best project since Relapse. Idk the replay value to me is very high

U right, I mean more like acclaim from the hip hop community. He’s always gonna sell though it’s Eminem

Yup completely agree, also Rhyme or Reason and A****** have a good relaxed, straightforward voice I want more songs like that

Rhyme Or Reason is one of my favorite post hiatus Em songs, aside from the hook.

A****** has such a horrendous instrumental, it drowns out Em. F*** every Alex Da Kid collaboration.

Lmao it’s true though. If he removes all the crap filler “love” songs and sticks to hip hop features his albums are much better

Agreed, also I have a strange relationship with A******: I love Ems delivery, flow, subject matter and etc. it has everything I wanted from a sequel to MMLP. But as a song it’s atrocious. Lmao horrible beat and hook. I feel like this sums up Eminem’s problem

I think he would have that 8/10 if he was somehow able to bridge the gap between the older generation and the new one, which idk how, but I lowkey think he could make one more classic if he was able to work with younger artists effectively enough so their styles contrast, yet compliment each other.

His biggest obsticale would be people already sorta writing him off, which is lame bc dude is legit a GOAT.
