Can’t believe people when they say Drake has no classics
Like what the f*** do you think Take Care is?
Classic and the impact has a lot to do with it
Has some of the best moments of Drake career but I always felt he had potential to craft a better album
The structure always bothered me a little, feel like it drags at moments. The production good for the most part but some of it didn’t age well. Sounded better at the time bc the mood he created with that album still felt fresh
I’ll still run Cameras/Good Ones Go. That’s a fire song. Lord Knows still one of my favorite beats oat
Overall it’s still one of my favorite Drake projects. You can tell he was still hungry back then. I respect the more ambitious moments on here. I think he truly found his wave rapping wise on NWTS but he hit his stride on Take Care
His most iconic album for sure.
But has aged terribly for me

But has aged terribly for me
Yeah that makes sense, it definitely sounds like a 2011 album
It’s okay. Wasn’t a fan on release either so it never really grew on me. I liked all the loosies from that era but the album was just alright. Trust issues >> everything on take care. Also the motto is horrible

Lowkey unbelievable that people (probs including me) used to say this isn’t a classic or that drake doesn’t have classics
Album is timeless
classic
how i'm feeling, it doesn't matter
GKMC has been my favorite rap album ever for nearly 10 years, but take care has quietly been overtaking it for about 3 years now
Definitely an era defining album
Never listen to it anymore though because of it sounding cheesy.
It might be nostalgic enough in the 2030s to appreciate like mid 2000s albums rn
Headlines is still his signature song imo
Conveys his braggadocio image the best out of any song in his library
The motto was also a whole moment in pop culture
Just wait until November 15th. Social media is going to go absolutely bonkers for the ten year anniversary. Literally an and to me THE album of my generation
Crew love still slaps so f***in hard
The Kendrick feature 😢
Gives me crazy nostalgia for the time in my life that it came out
The Ride is still possibly his best outro ever
I could go on
Absolute classic
