Funny enough, Certified Lover Boy and this album should have their album names switched and it fits the moments in his life way more
Love it
Though some tracks are kinda ehhh and dated
Most of the album is still amazing to this day!
for a period of time I really wanted to come down hard on it, but i just can't
the older i get the better it gets. it's one of the only drake albums that's something to get lost in. especially when i go through my favorite drake songs and realize how many of them are from take care
look what you've done
over my dead body
headlines
lord knows
the real her
the motto
take care
shot for me
etc etc. it's a classic album without question
I feel like it’s so perfect because it really not only defined most of our teenage years, but then once you grow up in your 20s it describes life and feelings PERFECTLY during that age period so it feels even greater in retrospect
Like once you finally grown you can really relate to the songs
Need drake drizzy rodgers to come back like Steve from blues and lmk that he still cares
my favorite of his. Drake run from TC > NWTS > IYRTITL one of the greatest runs in music history
Take Care is one of the best Drake album it's very nostalgic to me and I love the songs Marvin's Room, Shot for Me, Cameras/Good Ones Go, Doing It Wrong, Take Care, these are Drake's best songs.
That being said I would like it to be a R&B only album. Just focus on that moody sound and it would've been a classic no doubt. Put Club Paradise and Trust Issues in and shove the rap songs out (sorry not sorry).
Take Care the song is Uber classic
He needs to link back up w Jamie xx
Idk why he didn't work with him on an original song
It's not too late (I think)
The feeling I get when I listen to take care is special like with certain albums like dark fantasy and 808s
Idk why he didn't work with him on an original song
It's not too late (I think)
hopefully
I’ve said it before but my dream drake project is a dance album w like Jamie xx, kaytranada, Sango etc doing production
doesn’t sound as good to me as it used to although obviously it’s still great and super influential maybe even to the point of classic. but I can’t enjoy it the same.
I feel like Views is the new quintessential Drake album.
