from 2020 to 2024 we had Soul, Luca, Turning Red, Lightyear, and Inside Out 2. Most of them are good (except Lightyear, that was ass) but only Inside Out 2 is classic imo

Everything I see people complain about is directly due to console restraints being far more of an issue due to the volume of what a pokemon game needs to have in it
I havent played any of the switch pokemons cause they look like s*** and gamefreak refuse to cater to people that arent children.
What specifically does a pokemon game require that the switch cant handle? Cause its literally the most powerful console pokemon has officially ever run on.

oh shut the f*** up if you havent even played them lmfao. what children are doing max star raids? gen 9 had the most things in it for adults out of any gen ever made lmao. Children are not roaming out of the way for the hidden pseudos, and I cant see most children learning all the new evolution requirements, or sandwich hunting for that matter, you want adult difficulty go free ball the gyms like I did, legit challenging to do
botw is a joke compared to sv, and thats especially true with the graphics. Cant believe people will still hype that up lmfao. The one criticism I can understand is lack of clear-cut side missions, and it was even stated that wasn't fully implemented due to lack of power, and if you really want to stand on 'graphics' - yes hardware that isnt 10+ years out of date will solve that.
seriously go rent the game from a library if you dont want to buy it, youre going to be extremely confused when it isnt the complete dumpster fire the internet told you it was. Im still pissed at myself for believing the bullshit posted on reddit until like 6 months ago. easy top 3-4 pokemon for me. online needs work but Its clear they are beefing that up gen 10

Something I think is getting better to actually answer the question is the accessibility of the average person to information and ability to put their own art out there. That’s excellent. The problem now for learning is diffferent than in the past, where you had to be good at seeking information. Where now you have to be good at not just seeking information but filtering out useless information. But it’s just a different skill set anyone can develop.
We are still in the infancy of this stuff, with independent, music, games, films etc. But it’s the best part of entertainment today. That aspect is getting better and it will lead to some of the best art ever made in the future once the growing pains of the all the new tech slow down. - Aug 29, 2024Tuneout
