But what got me into 'book' books was watching how my parents read/ seeing how many world leaders/ CEO's read all the time

oh this is the Irish modernist novel, w/ paralells to homers Ulysses. Basically it's a story o standard living in Dulin at the time, but is regarded as this literary masterpiece.

Sounds like a crossover if game of thrones, downtown abbey and parts unknown without the food.

I mostly read nonfiction because I’m big into history and enjoy learning things. And if I’m gonna read I figure it may as well be something that actually happened. Sounds maybe a bit self righteous but I find it much more fascinating and often truth is stranger than fiction

Ive been reading since i was little we aint have wifi so when i wasnt playin ps2 or doin dumb s*** I was reading

Manga -> Light Novels -> Regular books

Basically, it's a good escapism from the problems in my daily life

the hunger games/percy jackson books when i was like 10

I guess the first things i really read was magic treehouse -> phantom tollbooth -> series of unfortunate events

It's the most reliable source of information.

Also because I'm a writer

tbh it calms me plus perfect remedy for me when ive been watching too much tv.
I also like to imagine the book im reading as a movie

Plus I got into comics and graphic novels before chapter books
