My best guess is he doesn’t want to drop and have it flop, and he keeps waiting for one of his singles to take hold, but I think he needs to accept that the singles might just not work, and he still has enough clout that people WILL listen if he drops the entire project; as such he should just cut the crap and drop it.
I feel like most people I know who like hip hop would absolutely tune in for a Rocky album, but would skip a Rocky single.
Idki skipped the last one because of the j cole feature. i like some rocky singles but ive always preferred his deep cuts. purity is my favorite song credited to his name

serenadeas for rocky, he just barely gives a s*** about music anymore and has basically forgotten how to rap. i'm surprised he even announced a new album. it took six years to scrounge up enough songs to make one and after all that time, it still isn't ready. my expectations for it are not that high.
dude this guy has had 2 full projects leak. the one from end of 2019/early 2020 all smiles was full of bangers too. so its not like he hasnt been working, he’s prob just worried about sales and also has had a looming assault/gun charge over his head for 2 years
