I do think that rappers are less able to do this today because in today’s culture it’s not as much of a thing to approach women and try to get to know a stranger

so a lot of the scenarios that were the centerpiece of those tracks do not realistically occur in most people’s lives

If I see a chick in public I’m not gonna approach her

most guys won’t either
Even a rapper just uses money and fame to attract women, you don’t really have the same kind of incentive or opportunity to be “seductive” honestly

modern rap production doesn’t lend itself to that
