I'm thinking about music producers but other fields may apply.

A lot of people move to big cities for music and without a backup plan. Some might get a couple of small placements some not even that. How will they make a living a few years from now? The thing is they don't even seem worried about their future.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something. I envy that they don't overthink things (like I do) but it seems kind of reckless.

I've never had the chance to move to the US since I'm from Europe but I've always wanted to make it as a producer and the chances are slim.

They join the hundreds of thousands of likeminded individuals in LA’s legendary homeless encampments

Jk, they probably find a regular job in LA or move back home. Might set them back a few years of career growth in their eventual mindless 9-5, but that’s just the risk you take.

    Pretty much

Or they just keep doing their thing and can actually afford to live off it if they're lucky. Most ppl cant handle the cost of living in LA esp as an artist

Tbh if a producer is moving out to LA they realistically already making moves or have connections

Aint no producer just gon do that without something waiting on the other side

Go back home lol. The s***s already over saturated with people who “think” they are creative and unique and plus there mixed in with the people in the field who actually are talented but may never get recognition . I wouldn’t move their unless your career in that field has already took off

They find normal day jobs to try and make rent (like my friend) while slowly working on passion projects.

Or they lose it and find a nice homeless camp.

Or they move to another state thats better.

    Or they head home.

You can be creative in the burbs. Most people in LA just as hive mind as everyone else, they just wear fancy clothes and do coke
