She's very clearly helped spear head the progressive movement to the mainstream and actively represents political interests of some of the youngest/working class demographics. Solid accomplishment alone so far. Considering there aren't many breaking the mold like she is.

There are 95 members of the congressional progressive caucus in the house, so it's not "like 5," but she is still outnumbered by centrist dems who have a plurality.

Honestly I don’t hate her. I actually have really high hopes/expectations for her as a future politician. She could be very impactful, especially with her reach. But for someone with an economics degree, she needs to drop the socialism schtick. Actually, the left needs to just drop the term as a whole because folks like AOC don’t actually want socialism, they want Nordic Model-esque capitalism and with that kind of messaging you can’t win elections. And sadly, that is how you get s*** done in this country. You have to be able to win elections and be willing to work with folks who you don’t agree with 🤷‍♂️
