Been looking at the b&w p9's for awhile and was finally sold on them and then realized theyre discontinued and impossible to find. Anyone know any good closed back alternatives?
M50s but I been thinking of getting ones that aren’t so flat cause Dolby Atmos sounds f***ed with it

m50s aren't even close to flat man
Want to grab the airpod max's for running. Know they aren't supposed to be for working out but...
Right now using the Hifiman Sundara as my desktop headphone (with the Ifi Zen DAC and Can stack), Drop's THX Pandas as my Bluetooth headphones, Fiio's FH7s as my IEMs, and switch between the Airpod Pros and Master & Dynamic MW07+s as my Bluetooth earbuds.
only use my sundaras if i'm listening to prog, shoegaze or metal. they're terrible for hip-hop and the zen stack is mandatory if you want bass because i don't believe in eq-ing

I like how the Sundaras sound, but holy hell are they uncomfortable.
Just got a pair of Sony XM4s and my god these are great
Nice
I can't wait for the XM 5's though!!!
Call me crazy, but I haven’t found a pair of headphones that hit the spot like the M40x’s

Get the AKG K371, like $150 but sound extremely good for the price imo. Wide sound, nice bass, and good tone all around

Would you say theyre better than the m40x? I just love how crisp everything sounds on them and how you can hear every minute detail in a song

Yea for sure, m40x has good tonality but it sounds 2-dimensional in comparison, the sub bass is barely there, and terribly uncomfortable. K371 feels much better imo, I had the m40x couple years back and they're sitting in my room collecting dust

Will test and compare, thank you!
Anyone have any recommendations for headphones for entry level. As much as I listen to music day to day I figured it’s time I finally invest. Only headphones I’ve had is solo wireless beats 3s. Loved them but the headphones died on me. I listen to all genres so I want something that’s good for all around music in general. My budget is 300
