But they wont flop. The Disney machine will make sure everyone sees it on Christmas day like they did with Rise Of Skywalker.

Avatar is kinda popular on disney+
But I don’t think it will gross a billi (which will be a flop) unless the movie is a 10/10

I’d rather watch all 4 for 2 weeks straight than watch another mcu movie in my life

The saving grace of Avatar is that they seem to have a solid story planned for the sequels. The consistency will help keep people interested. Look at it as an expensive HBO mini series.
This is where Star Wars failed

there was zero hype for Avatar outside the industry and amongst sci-fi nerds lol. It took word of mouth to spread about how immersive it was before it really took off.
