Some franchises can go many years without another installment and still retain the same amounts of hype. See the matrix and star wars
Sure but they are the exception not the norm

It''s crazy how you can deadass ask anyone to name 3 characters from the movie and everyone will fail.
I haven't seen the first one. Should I bother if I'm watching it on my phone or laptop?

the visuals aren't all that in 2021, infact i watched it on a PSP in 2010 and it was big mid then from a visual perspective.
the story is here and there like it's really medicore when stacked against what james cameron made in the past.
James Cameron is jacking off to blue people at this point.
Who the f*** is stanning for this?
Bro doesn’t Cameron have like 7 avatar movies in the tuck?
that titanic money will make you crazy

Nah. The best and arguably only good part of the movie is it's visuals and seeing it in 3D. Without that it's just a mid movie
ngl everyone is always begging for original movies not remakes not based on anything and thats what james cameron is giving us and hes going fully in with like 6 movies
Gotta respect that
