Pro-markets
Very pro LGBTQ rights
Pro immigration
Pro nuclear & carbon tax
Pro universal healthcare (via public option)
YIMBYs
Basically everything good from leftism and centrism in one
Pretty much this. Historically, neoliberalism was something you would generally use to describe the economic policies of Reagan, Thatcher, or Pinochet. People now call Biden neoliberal, but it's pretty obvious he is not campaigning on a platform anywhere near these other leaders
Itβs become a buzzword type insult for leftists

This isn't neoliberalism. Aren't you all just a bunch of libertarians/New Deal Democrats/social democrats/corporatist shills?
In order:
No - we do not believe in the delusion that the poor are poor simply because they don't work hard enough. Less seriously, we worship a central banker on this subreddit, how libertarian can we be?
No - we know that price controls, protectionism, and verging on central planning are not good responses to almost any economic situation, let alone a recession.
No - though this question is more fair. Neoliberalism and social democracy were often interwoven, particularly at the end of the 20th century. However, while we often share similar goals, social democrats tend to be significantly more skeptical of the merit of the free market on principle than neoliberals tend to be. In the same way that classical liberals might be seen as one step to the right of us, social democrats might be seen as one step to the left.

Lotta people describing right wing/conservatives
Neoliberals arent pro privatization they just are very pro markets and anti nationalization
Neoliberalis=socially liberal, centrist economically
Ik american politics is extremely skewed right but in the rest of the world economic right wing/socially liberal is just what we call conservatives
Merkel chancellor of Germany took in millions of syrian refugees but sheβs from the Conservative party
Also I didnβt read yr last line I DISAGREE, itβs a s*** ideology

That's because they already privatized almost all they could in the 90s you dummy
Justin Trudeau isnt a conservative, he sucks in a lot of things but he isnβt a conservative
Stop using skewed american politics to describe these things
This is a conservative lol

Lol sigh
And how is this different from regular liberals?
for exemple a neoliberal believes the wall street bailout of 2008 was a good idea, while a liberal would say in the rules of capitalism if you lose you lose
only when it comes to social issues
