COWBOY BEBOP is absolutely mindblowingly good...hard to describe, neo-noir headhunter series set in space...

PERFECT BLUE is a murder mystery meets pop star idol culture...about stalkers and s***...very relevant to today's stan culture...

PAPRIKA is trippy af...

PRINCESS MONONOKE is about ecology, war, forests, animals and s***...very mature movie with no clear bad guys...

GRAVE OF THE FIREFLIES is about World War 2, specifically the nuclear bombs and s***...I might have shed a thug tear or two...about the kids surviving with no parents and s***...

PORCO ROSSO is about a fatass pig who can also fly planes and breaks the law and s***, enough said...

GOLDEN BOY is about a h**** ass dude who keeps switching jobs and has a heart of gold beyond all of his extreme horniness...

DETECTIVE CONAN is a Sherlock Holmes type series, been running for like 25 years...comfort food...

SERIAL EXPERIMENTS LAIN will leave you feeling depressed asl...1990s show about computers and the Internet and s***...more relevant than ever

DRAGON BALL...very famous...have a soft spot for the OG series...based on a Chinese legend actually...first part of the series where is a kid is more focused on adventures and s***...the more famous part is about dope ass fights...

All of these s***s got merit...anime is merely an artform...there's kid stuff, adult stuff and stuff for both...I prefer the more serious stuff I guess

Can't expressed things in live action the way u can with animation. Some really amazing story told through animes. No different than a pixar films or other western animation. Anime just has a different spin on it
