It was decent tbh, had some smokiness to that joint lmao
Ive never eaten the entire egg tbh
I just drink the broth and eat the yolk
Its like a mini concentrated chicken soup lol
I hated silk worms lollllllll my mom likes them and wanted me to try a regional delicacy from her hometown (suzhou china) but it was awful gloopy and crispy just gross to me
I have a phobia of squishing large flies bc i dont like the shell vs squishy inside contrast
So silkworms rly tick off that phobia fpr me
She was like “oh these arent as good as the fresh ones” but idk i just cant
Shirako i dont tjink id order again
Its not rly flavorful, i think the main draw is the texture
I didnt particularly like it but it wasnt bad
Kinda sorta reminds me of gopchang
Which i fl similarly toward

I found Reddit posts saying Quebecers have seen kangaroo and Seal at grocery stores too. From these quick searches Quebec appears to be a haven for elsewhere prohibited exotic meats in North America. Can you confirm this anecdotally?

Soft shell turtles can live 50+ years in the wild

I will try yes! Didnt know about Kangaroo. Although Im positive they have seal because thats a delicacy with indigenous people. I know they have different cheese laws too because you’re allowed to make cheese with raw milk. Their cheese is illegal in the rest of Canada. It’s the best cheese ive ever had tho lol
Not too crazy but for me it was pigs feet at a proper Chinese restaurant. I’ve never eaten a piece of meat that resembled so much what it was in my life. Having to gnaw between knuckles to suck the meat off felt weird
Easily Chinese. Trying cat, dog and rabbit for the first time then vomiting when they told me what I ate
